Gentlemen, our league is officially frozen, and deemed dormant until such time a miracle patch or file recovery league saving solution comes along from EA. However, we are not a League that sits on our hands when things don’t go our way!

We get up, dust ourselves off, and turn this bitch of a thing into an opportunity for more fun!

After racking my brain the last 36 hours...here is what I would like to present to the Membership. Not 1 but 2 options to get our fill of GM love! We hope you chose both!!

Option 1

Come join MTL (Nik)/EDM (Ty)/WPG (Colin)/TB (Gavin) in the CDC GM SIM League on the Canucks Forum. The League has 25+ HGMs, and though Trades need be negotiated in PM on the Forum, the competition is fierce, and we all could/can negotiate trades here on this very Skype platform. Because it is an Original Roster league most of the Teams are still well stocked. When I began with Chicago 5 years back, we had finished in last place. I rebuilt completely on a 5 year plan and last season we went to game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals...so if I can do it, each and every GM here can do it!

Option 2

Join us here in PGM every Friday and Saturday at 10pm – 11:59pm (each night) for what we call GM Club (Hardcore GMing)

First rule of GM Club, there are no rules in GM Club. Simply build the best team you can over the two day period and throw them in the playoffs. The team that finishes the highest in the Stanley Cup Finals Tournament wins. Ties go to the best Regular Season Record.

Here is how it works

1 Full Season (FA to CUP) is completed over 2 Days

Each GM chooses a team prior to the ‘Random Roster Draft’

Friday

First Day of Free Agency (No Trading) 10pm – 10:30pm (SIM to Day 2 FA)

HGM & CPU Trading from 11pm – 11:59pm (SIM to Trade Deadline)

Saturday

HGM & CPU Trade Deadline 10pm – 11pm (SIM to End of Regular Season)

Set Playoff Rosters 11:30pm – 11:59pm (SIM full playoffs)

Every week we Roster Draft a new league from scratch – The Ultimate GM Challenge! Simply apply before Friday evening at 9pm each week, & your in!

Losing our league after 4 months of diligent work...is not sooo ideal, however we hope that we can reharness our GM passion with these 2 options  : )

In the end this may be seen as the best of both worlds, as we get the Real Life GM experience at CDC, & the High Octane GM Club Challenge here!
