NHL 13 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)

1. Trade Rules:

    1.1. CPU Trades are conducted twice during the 2 week (real time) season length: #1. CPU Trade Frenzy Day & #2. CPU Trade Deadline.    

    1.2. HGM's can only trade with CPU GM's once per season, with no picks allowed to be placed in any deal between an HGM and CPU.

    1.3. CPU Trade Frenzy is 90 minutes in duration, and allows for HGM's to make as many deals as possible during that time frame (unlimited)

    1.4. HGM's that miss or strategically choose not to trade during 'Frenzy' will be granted 2 trade chips on the first day of Free Agency (only) 

    1.5. The 'CPU Trade Deadline' allots each HGM 2 trade chips to make deals with the CPU for the final time until the pre draft CPU Trade Frenzy.

    1.6. CPU Trades are only approved if a deal between an HGM & CPU has no draft picks involved and fit under the CPU Cap & 50 player roster limit.

    1.7. HGM's must take into account Cap and Roster limits of CPU, and will be held accountable for all trade oversights - and CPU trade rejections.

2. Wavier Wire

    2.1. The Pure GM Waiver Wire is in place to manually replace the glitch found with the 'in game' CPU Waivers.

    2.2. The Waiver Wire is conducted with the GM honor system in place, HGM's are expected to place all 77ovr 1way contracts onto the 'Waiver Wire'

    2.3. Waived players will be on the wire for 24hrs (Skype Clock) with the first selection going to the last placed HGM team at the time of Waiver notice.

3. Watching/Scouting Games (includes SIMMING)

    3.1. HGM's can watch and scout games by Position Locking on CO (coach) at the 'in game' set up screen. Watch only, no playing or coaching allowed

    3.2. HGM's can watch games versus other HGM's, games can be planned and scheduled via Skype, or impromptu invites can be made 'in game.'

    3.3. Watching games without HGM permission: HGM's can watch Home games vs. HGM's without HGM permission. Though asking is suggested.

    3.4. All HGM vs. HGM games that have not been viewed are available to be viewed 2 hours before the next SIM, without HGM permission.

    3.5. When a game is 'Not Finished' due to lost connection, HGM's are to leave it for the evening SIM, asked to not retry & play that particular game.

4. Rule Infractions    

    4.1. Any improperly placed 'Trade Wire' trade made during the CPU Frenzy & Deadline will be penalized by 1 CPU trade chip being taken away.

    4.2. A 2nd 'Trade Wire' infraction made within the same season (CPU Frenzy or Deadline) will be penalized by all CPU Trading Chips being revoked.

    4.3. Being over the Salary Cap prior to Oct. Season Opener SIM, will be penalized with CPU Deadline trades revoked & 10pts taken off of reg. season.

    4.4. Any team under the Salary Cap floor prior to Oct. Season Opener SIM, will be penalized by CPU salary increase & 'CPU' Deadline trades revoked.

    4.5. Any HGM that is handed an infraction will be given a stiff warning, HGM's consistently acquiring infractions will be removed from the League.

    4.6. DNF (did not finish) % is tracked to insure HGM's are not purposely dropping games for victory. 50% DNF = 20 pts minus Reg. Season record.

5. HGM 'Extended Absence'

    5.1. Any HGM that requests to go offline for an extended absence (3 days - 2 weeks) will have their GM spot reserved until they return.

    5.2. HGM's that request to go offline for an extended absence will be replaced by the CPU to ensure their team transactions are managed.

    5.3. Any HGM that does not alert the league of a planned extended absence will be removed from the league and placed on probation.

    5.4. Any HGM that is placed on probation will be granted 1 league meeting to discuss being reinstated. A 2nd unannouced absence = 1yr RT ban. 

    5.5. HGM's that need an extended absence of longer than 2 weeks will be placed on the league 'wait list' - with their GM spot opened up to be filled.
